CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Wash in cold to warm water (40°c maximum is suggested). If machine washing, ensure a gentle cycle is selected. Hanging up for air drying is recommended or low heat setting in a dryer. Avoid ironing or bleaching.

My 96-year-old mum is a lot less mobile now (understandably), and she's been recommended to wear a compression sock on one leg that has some issues. The aged care place she is in was using a tube "sock" (no foot) that rolled up and down and exacerbated her problem by being too tight at the top. They're also hot and uncomfortable.
